The Scream by Edvard Munch

$3.99

How do you paint fear? In 1893 artist Edvard Munch tapped into the font of primal terror and produced his best-known work, "The Scream". Munch wrote of this famous painting: "I was walking down the road with two friends when the sun set; suddenly, the sky turned as red as blood. I stopped and leaned against the fence, feeling unspeakably tired. Tongues of fire and blood stretched over the bluish black fjord. My friends went on walking, while I lagged behind, shivering with fear. Then I heard the enormous, infinite screams of nature." This is one of my favorite works of art, and I am very pleased to be able to offer this wonderful photopolymer stamp to you. Size is about 1.75" tall x 1" wide. This is a new stamp, never used. It is a lovely bit of art and history to share with the kids, or to add to your collection. Don't miss your opportunity to own this amazing stamp!
